Created during the pandemic, I included the following statement in the center panel. “The earth is responding well to this forced slowing down of things. Air is clearer, water is cleaner, and humans are connecting to the terra firma in their backyards,” This was layered onto a monoprint along with the silhouette of a budding magnolia tree branch in spring, and is flanked by slices of wood, twigs and paper that captured the tannins from various plants (an ecoprint).
