Red pine bark, tree branches, baby blocks, cast of turtle shell, Virginia moss, pinecones, burr oak acorn cap, phosphorous pigments and acrylic on wood.
This panel has been evolving for years, and as soon as I added a soft shell turtle image, it’s direction was cast. A turtle shell resin cast floats above northern sky constellations that will glow at night. The base incorporates antique baby blocks, twigs, and the “”water”” below has a swarm of tadpoles swimming through it.
